Ride That Line

We welcome in the season of Scorpio, the water sign in which we explore the darkness and the mysteries of life. Through this, we recognize that in the darkness, we find our way back into the light and remember that all is happening in the divine flow of the natural laws of the Universe.

What a perfect time to release my new song, Ride That Line, inspired by discomfort + anxiety while surfing big waves at my home break of Sunset Beach in Hawaii.

With this New Moon release, I am also excited to launch our nature-inspired
classic leaf design that reminds us of the fluidity and simplicity of life with its delicate and beautiful lines.

Soundtrack

This month, my new musical release is about one of my favorite things in life: surfing. Surfing for me has always been a great metaphor for the experience of life. Depending on how we choose to ride the waves of life, we can find ourselves in a multitude of situations. This new song, Ride That Line, was written when I was in an extremely uncomfortable situation.

I was sitting out at Sunset Point, and the swell was starting to rise (the waves were getting bigger.) I felt a bit of nervousness and anxiety as I kept paddling out of the impact zone towards safer waters. The swell was coming from the northeast and therefore the waves were swinging around the point at a different angle than usual.

What do I do when I'm nervous? I sing!
These are the words that soothed my mind and helped me to catch some big waves that I previously would not have chosen to ride. Learning how to be in the flow and to trust the divine by choosing to ride the high line.

The moral of the story, in the true nature of Scorpio is that sometimes the poison is the cure.
Through every challenge, there is growth!

The New Moon falls on November 4, offering up a potent opportunity to dive into the mysterious waters of Scorpio.


Here, we have the ability to look at our own fears, worries and insecurities to uncover what lurks beneath the surface.


We can learn to how to become more empowered versions of ourselves, and handle whatever life may throw in our direction.


This is also an opportunity to get very clear about our passions and true desires so that we can call them into our life and life with greater purpose and alignment.

This October New Moon falls in the astrological sign of Libra, an air sign, which is all about restoring the balance, both personally and collectively.

We may find the desire to focus on building stronger interpersonal relationships and create harmony in our relationships

The New Moon is conjunct Mars meaning there is an abundant energy of initiative and courage. This is a great time to set intentions and to be bold about chasing your dreams!

In contrast, the moon is also making a difficult aspect in relation to Uranus, which brings impatience, radical change and rebellion. Perhaps this is the time we've all been waiting for.

It is clear that we need to create more balance on our earth, and that means it's time to shift things up!
