I wrote this song on Christmas Eve of 2017 and I was feeling pretty depressed. I pulled out my journal, said a little prayer and these are the words that came through.

Journaling for me has always been a wonderful way to channel my emotions and to call in higher guidance. With Virgo as my sun sign, I am in my head and tend to overanalyze or overthink things. So channeling through writing helps me to feel into my emotions.

There is always divine timing for everything, and I am really feeling the call to activate the dreams of my Hawaiian ancestors who lived off of the land and honored all of life.

The word Lōkahi in Hawaiian means Unity or Harmony.

This song is my prayer to my future self and future ancestors to live in Lōkahi, peace and harmony.
