Just like most of the songs for this upcoming album, this song was written 4 years ago about a fun night of play and passion.

I met a man who stole my heart instantly, and we spent the evening dance in the heart of Waikiki on the south shore of Oahu.

We stayed up all night making out on the beach, watching the stars dance through the sky. When I finally went home when the sun rose, I took a nice long nap. When I woke up, I picked up my journal and this song came through!

Even though I felt our connection was so strong, it was short-lived, and I soon found myself broken-hearted. The lesson learned in this song is to take it slow when I meet someone new. The Spanish word "Despacito" means slowly.

Learning to have compassion for myself through it all, having unconditional love for oneself is the key.

I hope this song inspires you to move and feel the self love that lives within you!
